Practices are held in the Chestnut Fieldhouse daily from 4-6 pm. We are focused on conditioning through the use of traditional boxing workouts and dynamic movements that stress all of the muscles in the body. Bring running shoes as occasionally we will go for a group run. We are working on beginning and intermediate boxing skills and also host weekly sparring sessions. Competitive team members will train specifically for upcoming bouts.
Practice Schedule: Begins immediately following the Club Sports Fair and Mega Fair. Club Officers will be present at all times and focus on conditioning and practice the fundamentals taught during the coaching sessions. Competitive team members will participate in additional training sessions.
Coaching Schedule: Coach Buller will normally be at practice two to three times a week. These sessions are focused on boxing skills and may include some sparring.
Sparring Schedule: Sparring sessions areheld weekly. You must be registered with the NCBA/USA Boxing to spar - we will help you get registered. We also will travel to local gyms to spar against other amateurs.
